CRATER LAKE ELECTRICAL JATC
Established in 1967, the Crater Lake Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to training the next generation of skilled electrical workers. Our registered apprenticeship program provides top-tier education and hands-on training for electrical apprentices, journey-level electricians, and other industry professionals.
The Training Center is a registered electrical construction industry apprenticeship program with approved standards in Oregon and California. Our jurisdiction serves all of Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Harney, and most of Douglas County in Oregon, as well as, Modoc and Siskiyou Counties in California.
Funded and overseen by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 659 and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), our program is guided by a board of trustees, consisting of four IBEW members, four NECA representatives, and two alternates from each group. The Training Director manages day-to-day operations, reporting directly to this committee.
At Crater Lake Electrical JATC, we are dedicated to developing Oregon’s most skilled and knowledgeable electrical workforce. Whether you’re starting a new career or advancing your skills, we’re here to help you succeed in the electrical industry.
