CRATER LAKE ELECTRICAL JATC

The Crater Lake Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Trust Fund was originally established in 1967. Structured as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the program operates to provide the training and education of electrical apprentices, journey electricians, or other appropriate persons. The Training Center is a registered electrical construction industry apprenticeship program with approved standards in Oregon and California. Our jurisdiction covers most of Douglas County, and all of Harney, Josephine, Jackson, Klamath, and Lake County in Oregon, and Modoc and Siskiyou Counties in California.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) fund and oversee the apprenticeship program. A board of Trustees comprised of (4) IBEW local 659 and (4) NECA members, along with (2) alternate members from each represented group, oversee the Training Director and all operations of the JATC. The Training Director reports to and is accountable to the Committee.

Crater Lake Electrical JATC is dedicated to producing Oregon’s best-trained and most qualified electrical workers. Let us help you get started on an exciting and fulfilling career in the electrical industry.
